With a day for the dust to settle on Monday following the Magic Millions Weanling Sale, attention turns to the broodmares, with Kia Ora Stud set to offer five mares at Wednesday’s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, all carrying positive tests to Group-producing sires.

 

Lot 646 Sangita – In foal to All Too Hard

By Sebring, Sangita is out of National Anthem, a half-sister to dual hemisphere Champion Sprinter and influential sire Starspangledbanner. A winner at both two and three, she was an $800,000 Inglis Easter yearling and has already produced 2YO winner Etude.

The family continues to make headlines, with Sangita also a half-sister to the talented Hong Kong sprinter Parents’ Love, a 5-time winner who added another victory to his record just last month.

Offered in foal to All Too Hard, the sire of 34 individual stakes winners and five Group 1 winners, including Kia Ora-bred and sold Champion Hong Kong Sprinter Wellington.

It is a pedigree packed with black type, with her dam a three quarter or half-sister to three stakes performers, headed by 3-time Group 1 winner Manighar, winner of the G1 BMW Stakes, G1 Australian Cup and G1 Ranvet Stakes.
